President's Message

Dear PL-lites, Teachers, Friends, and Alumni of PLMGS,

As I reflect on the 2025 school theme, "A Friend of All" from Proverbs 17:17, "A friend loves at all times," I am reminded of the many Godly women who have supported our school through our alumni association over the decades. We may come from different cohorts and different generations, but through serving together, we have formed lasting bonds that embody the true meaning of friendship.

Gratitude to Our Dedicated Alumni

My heartfelt gratitude goes to these many wonderful women who have dedicated their time and effort to our alumni association in supporting our alma mater. Their labour of love and servant hearts are the backbone of our school’s cherished traditions.

The Value of Lifelong Friendships

My own experience at PLMGS has shown me the value of lifelong friendships. The friends I made during my time at PL, and my beloved teachers, remain dear to me, and I am grateful for the support and love we have shared over the years. These friendships have certainly stood the test of time.

A Message to Our Young PL-lites

To our young PL-lites, I want to encourage you to be engaged in as many activities and events that our school offers, as you possibly can – it is through these experiences that you will discover like-minded friends and mentors who will stand by you through thick and thin. By being an integral part of teams, clubs, or service groups, you will not only develop new skills and passions but also build lasting bonds with your peers and teachers. Your school is a special place where lifelong friendships are forged, and teacher-mentors become like family, supporting you through life's ups and downs.

Embracing Our PL Family

Remember, you are blessed to be part of a big, special family – so embrace it with open arms, treasure the friendships you form here, and let them be a source of strength and joy for years to come.

Looking Ahead

As we remember our school's heritage and the bonds that unite us, let us continue to embody the spirit of "A Friend of All." May the love, support, and camaraderie that define our PLMGS family inspire us to be friends who love at all times, both within our school walls and beyond. Thank you for being part of the PL tapestry of friendship and may God bless our PL family.

Thank you for being part of the PL tapestry of friendship. May God bless our PL family. To God be the Glory.

Yours sincerely,
